Turns out the first one which I thought would be amazing was not all that great. Prices were just okay which I expected from an estate sale company, but the house was obviously owned by a smoker. Walls were yellow all the items were covered in a sludge. And apparently the oven was malfunctioning it was emitting a faint continuous smell of gas. I didn't leave empty handed though!
I left with this lamp, this is the after picture...
This shows the sludge that I was in the process of cleaning off. Just took a little elbow grease and it was good as new!
How awesome is this nightlight?
So after that sale was over I bolted to the next sale. It was in a wealthier side of the city. I walked right up and they let me right in amazingly enough. I knew right when I walked in it was going to be a great sale. The prices were OUTSTANDING! And it was full of vintage QUALITY items, I went overboard and spent a lot more than I had figured.
I bought this beauty, found it covered with hats I don't think anyone noticed it wasn't really a hat stand!
A few smalls, the thermoware was actually from the first dirty sale. I wish I had the before and after from that little guy. He was brown!
A few more smalls I couldn't pass up, the trivets aren't vintage, I just liked the colors and they were matching.
Found a vintage Devon electric food warmer, still in the box, I doubt it has been used it's in immaculate condition, I have been looking for one in the right condition and this one fit the bill. Of course the custom made plastic napkin holder was mine right when I saw it.
How neat.
Again another new in the box never used item! Kind of a cool server!
I bought a lot more but I didn't have time to photograph everything. This estate sale was one of the best I have ever been to. I have it has made it into my top 3, and that says something after my hundreds of estate sales!
